Overview

The Sales Director role is a member of the sales team who locates prospective clients, builds relationships, persuades through value selling, then converts them into customers. They are responsible for managing relationships with clients and achieving sales targets in a specific company targeted vertical.

In Short

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Mostly outbound self-lead generation (90+%).
  • Utilize prospecting skills to build and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Develop tailored solutions to enhance customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with CRO & Marketing on market trends.
  • Deliver presentations and secure new clients to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop contract strategies and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversee sales forecasting and prepare reports for management.
  • Support sales administration and product development.
  • Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven success in a sales quota carrying role.
  • Experience in SaaS Technology or Data is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and self-lead generation.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; CRM software knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about sales.
