Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a short-term project focused on data discovery and stakeholder engagement. This role will work directly with a senior consultant and involve attending meetings (remote or on-site), capturing notes, and performing light data analysis.

In Short

• Attend and document stakeholder meetings
• Pull and query data from various source systems using SQL
• Perform basic data profiling (e.g., frequency counts, field population rates)
• Translate technical findings into clear business language
• Support discovery of data ingestion processes, ETL flows, and reporting practices
• Prepare summaries and findings in Excel or similar tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business or data analysis (2-5 years)
• Basic SQL skills and comfort working with data sets
• Understanding of data pipelines, ingestion, and reporting fundamentals
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to bridge technical findings with business context
