Zingtree is the next gen, intelligent process automation platform that reimagines customer experience operations for top Customer Support leaders. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will design, build, and maintain scalable data processing systems and analytics platforms.

In Short

• Design and implement efficient data storage and processing solutions for large-scale datasets.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for event data ingestion and processing.
• Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies like Apache Druid and Spark.
• Collaborate with backend engineering teams using Go in a Kubernetes environment.
• Optimize query performance and data access patterns for analytics platforms.
• Design and implement data models that support business intelligence needs.
• Create comprehensive documentation and establish best practices for data engineering.
• Provide architectural direction for data systems and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering with expertise in large-scale systems.
• Strong background in database technologies and SQL optimization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience with stream processing and real-time analytics frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting complex data systems.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
