Overview

The Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist provides support to Tribal Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grantees in implementing the goals of the Tribal MIECHV program, including the following:

• Supporting the development of happy, healthy and successful American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) children and families.
• Implementing high-quality, culturally relevant, evidence-based home visiting programs.
• Expanding the evidence base around home visiting interventions with Native populations.
• Promoting linkages among various early childhood programs.
• Assisting in planning and delivering technical assistance activities.
• Maintaining relationships with assigned grantees.
• Participating in national and regional grantee meetings.
• Identifying best practices and disseminating lessons learned.
• Utilizing technology for planning and tracking activities.
• Coordinating with data TA providers as needed.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in home visiting or related field.
• Expertise in providing technical assistance in relevant domains.
• Strong knowledge of child development and family support.
• Experience in planning and coordinating technical assistance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
