Director of Commercial Broking - Remote

Overview

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Director of Commercial Broking to elevate our sales and service levels for our clients.

In Short

• Oversee multiple commercial broking teams in sales, service, and admin.
• Drive results by coaching other coaches and creating efficiencies.
• Own key relationships with underwriters and vendors.
• Lead quality process initiatives and sales audits.
• Manage team objectives through regular 1:1s and goal setting.
• Ensure appropriate resource planning for team needs.
• Work closely with the VP of Sales on company goals.
• Design and optimize existing processes for productivity.
• Manage client and employee escalations for satisfaction.
• Deliver internal information sessions for team learning.

Requirements

• RIBO license required.
• CIP/CRM/CAIB is an asset.
• 10+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• Excellent technical commercial insurance knowledge.
• Ability to present to stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Excellent people management skills.
