Finance Manager / Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager / Accountant to join our Berlin team in a remote model from any city/location within Germany.

In Short

• Independent financial management including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Responsible for holistic accounting processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage VAT returns and statistical reports.
• Engage in process optimization and special projects in finance and accounting.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and oversee payment runs.

Requirements

• Completed training as an accountant or similar qualifications.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Proficient in DATEV and MS Office (especially Excel) with good knowledge of German and ideally English.
• Hands-on mentality with a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Desire to work in a growing and dynamic environment.
