Accounting & Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

Auxo Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Manager-level Consultant who will report directly to the CFO to oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month end closing, and other internal accounting & finance related tasks.

In Short

• Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal control activities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Book and facilitate month-end close
• Conduct year-end audit processes
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data in QuickBooks
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and GAAP standards
• Monitor daily bank transactions and monthly reconciliation
• Execute financial analyses across projects, resources and customers
• Ad hoc finance and accounting related activities as necessary
• Opportunity to manage team of junior accounting resources as the business scales with additional engagements

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional accounting experience, along with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA
• IT/Software or Professional Services industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software: Quickbooks, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work remotely and accommodate a working schedule of 9am - 5:30pm ET
• Flexibility and adaptability with schedule
• High level of integrity and strong attention to detail
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners
• Start-up/small company experience strongly preferred
