People Operations Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The People Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People Team department. This position will support People Team administrative responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a positive employee experience. The People Operations Coordinator will assist with onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, payroll and various People Team projects, contributing to a productive and efficient work environment.

In Short

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Manage HR systems and databases.
• Assist in preparing HR documents.
• Support new hire onboarding/offboarding.
• Support FTE & 1099 payroll.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries.
• Assist in benefits enrollment and changes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the development of People processes.
• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in HR or People Operations.
• At least 1 year of experience running payroll.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (Rippling preferred).
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus.
• Professional HR Certification is a plus.
