Software Engineering Lead (.Net) - Remote

Overview

Join our Central Technology Team as Software Engineering Lead anywhere in NZ to make a real impact every day. You will help us lead a C# team, building and maintaining Xplor’s reconciliation platforms, which are part of a global full stack payment processing platform.

In Short

• Lead a team of software developers and QA engineers.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Refactor existing code and write unit tests.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams.
• Contribute to performance and troubleshooting analysis.
• Manage a flexible work schedule across different time zones.
• Oversee goal setting and performance reviews for team members.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.
• Provide people leadership and mentoring.
• Work from home 100% from anywhere in New Zealand.

Requirements

• Senior/Lead level experience with C# and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and Angular.
• Experience in agile software development life-cycles.
• Ability to improve scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with distributed, event-driven system architecture.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior experience leading a small team.
• Team player who collaborates across the organization.
• Familiarity with major payment schemes is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
