BI Developer - Remote

Overview

The BI Developer will play a crucial role in driving standardization across Wabtec in key areas such as Industry 4.0, Lean, Global Materials, SIOP, and Supplier Development, focusing on the development and integration of analytics and applications.

In Short

• Collaborate with OPEX Integration Leaders and IT teams.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Data Solutions and ETL Jobs.
• Support Wabtec Global users with analytics and software products.
• Analyze business requirements and user problems.
• Work cross-functionally to handle multiple projects.
• Ensure data accuracy and proper format for analytics.
• Act as the official contact point with Wabtec IT teams.
• Present project status to customers and functional managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience in SQL design and optimization.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in BI Reports Development.
• Fluent in English (TOEFL score of 600 or higher).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in BI platforms: Power BI, Qlikview.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in process improvement and Lean practices.
