BI Developer - Remote

Overview

Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) is a fully remote IT services provider focused on data analytics, health informatics, and modernization of federal information systems. We are currently recruiting for a remote BI Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

In Short

• Develop and maintain data from the data warehouse for PowerBI reporting.
• Write complex SQL queries and develop stored procedures.
• Translate business needs and document technical specifications.
• Design and deploy PowerBI visualizations.
• Conduct unit testing and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate and migrate systems.
• Analyze business requirements and provide solutions.
• Support customers during EST hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust clearance.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

• 10 years’ experience as a Developer in SQL, Power BI, or Oracle.
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016, SSIS, SSRS.
• Knowledge of eCQM tools and data modeling.
• Ability to work in a remote environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
