Overview

The Account Manager (“AM”) is responsible for business development, risk mitigation, generating revenue and promoting the company’s products and services within a specific geographic area.

In Short

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Achieve goals and targets through client engagement.
  • Document dealer interactions within the company’s operating system.
  • Set policy expectations with dealer accounts.
  • Communicate products and changes effectively.
  • Understand floorplans and fee structures.
  • Analyze client data to identify risks.
  • Maintain compliance practices to mitigate risk.
  • Support local auction campaigns and promotions.
  • Manage a team of Sales and Administrative professionals if applicable.

Requirements

  • 75% travel in the assigned market and remote work.
  • High school degree/GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive dealership.
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Leadership experience to drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Basic computer skills required.
