Application Specialist - 6-Month Contract - Remote

Overview

The Application Specialist will provide 1st and 2nd level support while ensuring ITIL practices are followed, lead incident investigations, and work closely with various teams to improve application solutions.

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support.
• Ensure ITIL incident, problem, and change management practices are followed.
• Lead investigation of incidents and identify solutions.
• Design and implement best practices for ERP and CRM systems.
• Create and update documentation for systems.
• Lead deployment of application patches.
• Define technology road map for supported systems.
• Research potential solutions based on project needs.
• Perform systems acceptance testing.
• Work closely with QA team as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Servers.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ITIL practices.
• Technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, MS SQL) are a plus.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
