Parsons is looking for a sharp Tier 1 Systems Administrator to join our growing TLOSS team! This position offers an exciting opportunity for those in the early stages of their IT career, with a focus on technical growth in a collaborative environment.

In Short

• Provide onsite Tier I systems and hardware support.
• Monitor systems for anomalies requiring attention.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of system issues.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding and account management.
• Provide IT and Audio-Visual support for events.
• Maintain and configure computer systems and network servers.
• Implement technical hardware and software solutions.
• Assist in system installation and verification.
• Work in a production/operational environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.

Requirements

• Active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Current Security+ Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Red Hat and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization and network fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Understanding of security assessment products.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team culture.
• Familiarity with automation tools preferred.
