Senior Roadway / Bridge Inspector - Remote

Overview

Parsons is seeking a Senior Roadway / Bridge Inspector to support Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) work in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

In Short

• Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors and verification testing technicians.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Perform field inspection of contractor’s operations for compliance.
• Conduct material sampling and testing.
• Prepare daily reports documenting contractor work operations.
• Field measure installed quantities and perform calculations.
• Enter reports and results in web-based databases.
• 5+ years of relevant field project experience required.
• FDOT project experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates should possess current FDOT CTQP certifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and Associate's Degree in a technical discipline/construction-related field.
• 5+ years of relevant field project experience.
• Prior experience on similar FDOT projects is required.
• 8+ years of previous inspection experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of FDOT specifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with construction inspections.
