Senior Bridge Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Bridge Engineer will work on major infrastructure projects that significantly impact the community, focusing on road and highway projects in Memphis, Tennessee.

In Short

• Design bridges in compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD designers.
• Prepare structural designs for various types of bridges.
• Complete engineering analyses and technical reports.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and perform bid analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Prepare requisitions for materials and equipment.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of bridge design experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis required.
• Experience with steel and concrete bridge design.
• TDOT experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of CAD and structural design software.
• P.E. license required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• No security clearance required.
