Senior Construction Estimator - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Estimator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform estimating activities for a wide variety of project types and delivery methods.

In Short

• Perform estimating activities for various project types.
• Develop comprehensive estimates in accordance with construction practices.
• Conduct detailed reviews of project plans and specifications.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for civil and structural activities.
• Utilize HCSS estimating software for project activities.
• Coordinate with estimating teams to ensure contract scope coverage.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with estimators, schedulers, and engineers.
• Participate in bid reviews.
• Work independently and within teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil contracting.
• Understanding of construction contract documents and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Familiarity with project controls and estimating software.
• Experience with CAD/3D modeling is ideal.
