Overview

The Project Design Engineer will oversee design for the Frederick Douglass Tunnel Replacement Program, leading a multidisciplinary team to support construction and technical design integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years of interdisciplinary coordination experience.
• Subject matter expertise in rail infrastructure design.
• Successful record in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
• Ability to coordinate with municipal and state agencies.
• Familiarity with AREMA, ADA, and NFPA 130.
• Experience with contract negotiations and modifications.
• Familiarity with rail project construction staging.
• Experience in underground facilities projects.
• Security clearance not required.
