Principal Software Developer - TS/SCI - Remote

Overview

Parsons is seeking an experienced Principal Software Developer to deliver quality software supporting offensive cyber capabilities for government customers.

In Short

• Design and develop software as part of an agile team.
• Perform code reviews and testing.
• Participate in planning events.
• Assist customers remotely and on-site with troubleshooting.
• Work with Java and/or Python.
• Experience in containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Engage stakeholders in technical discussions.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.

Requirements

• BS degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Programming experience in Java and/or Python.
• Experience delivering software solutions for government or commercial customers.
• Familiarity with SQL and no-SQL databases.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional planning.
• Experience using Kafka and testing frameworks like Playwright.
• Knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Background in cybersecurity is a plus.
• Familiarity with Go is a plus.
