Senior Project Controls Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Project Controls Specialist at Parsons, you will play a key role in assisting with cost control, budget management, data management, and reporting for complex construction programs.

In Short

• Assist in project life cycle activities including setup and maintenance.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement business plans.
• Prepare and support financial forecasts and reports.
• Develop and maintain Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• Apply EVMS methodologies for accurate forecasting.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting.
• Identify and implement best practices in project controls.
• Organize financial data for timely reporting.
• Manage subcontractor and client invoice cycles.
• Work virtually with daily check-ins on project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in various project control software.
• Experience with Excel, Forecasting Tools, and Costpoint.
• Familiarity with Primavera and Scheduling software is a plus.
• Ability to work virtually and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for financial data validation.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
