Overview

Parsons is looking for a Field Support Engineer to join our team supporting a large federal government customer, providing outstanding support experience for end users.

In Short

  • Monitor multiple support request channels (email, MS Teams, phone).
  • Participate in meetings with the customer for support planning.
  • Support co-workers to enhance end-user experience.
  • Communicate proactively with customer locations regarding system updates.
  • Work with the engineering team on system modernization efforts.
  • Submit status reports for customer requirements.
  • Maintain a Secret government clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of technical support best practices.

Requirements

  • BS Degree + 4 years or 8 years total experience in IT / help desk support.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret government clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of Windows, web, and peripheral technical support.
  • Desire to contribute beyond routine tasks.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under stress.
  • Effective communication with non-native English speakers.
