Mechanical Inspector - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will be involved in monitoring, inspection, coordination, and documentation of all mechanical works of the project to ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications.

In Short

• Assist the Mechanical Engineer with contractual duties on site.
• Maintain a detailed diary of daily work activities.
• Interface with the public to mitigate construction impacts.
• Attend to Inspection Requests (IR's) and take timely action.
• Monitor quality and safety at the site.
• Prepare Surveillance Reports for deficiencies in work.
• Inspect all electrical & instrumentation work for compliance.
• Receive and inspect material inspection requests (MIR).
• Ensure project quality control procedures are followed.
• Coordinate works for successful project hand-over.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of electrical construction work experience.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Fully computer literate and able to utilize relevant software.
