Blue Ridge Envisioneering is seeking a full-time Junior Software Engineer to participate in the design, development, and maintenance of complex systems for government customers, focusing on cutting-edge technology.

In Short

Work on signal processing, image processing, and data analytics.
Collaborate with a small team on multiple development efforts.
Interface with customers to understand their technical needs.
Support proposals with technical solutions and estimations.
Utilize methods from various domains to produce functional solutions.
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Take responsibility for architecture and design solutions.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software design/development.
Active TS/SCI w/ Poly security clearance required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in relevant fields.
Experience in a Linux environment and software development.
Proficient in Python and C/C++ programming languages.
Experience with Git or other code management tools.
Preferred experience with AWS, OpenCV, and machine learning frameworks.
Knowledge of digital signal processing and geolocation techniques.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with high-performance computing concepts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
