Assistant Resident Engineer (Rail/Metro Viaduct) - Remote

Overview

Parsons is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the construction of bridges and viaducts, ensuring project specifications and safety goals are met.

• Assist in supervising construction activities for bridges and viaducts.
• Coordinate activities with engineers and construction teams.
• Review shop drawings and design proposals.
• Maintain daily reports and diaries.
• Monitor performance of inspectors and surveyors.
• Ensure safety procedures are implemented on-site.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Check and measure performed work.
• Ensure correctness of as-built drawings.
• Assist in handing over structural works to authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15 years of experience in construction supervision of bridges.
• Ability to review material submissions and technical reports.
• Fully computer literate with engineering software skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• RTA approval is an advantage.
• Experience in civil supervision in the Gulf region is preferred.
• Engineering consultancy experience in UAE/GCC is preferable.
