Backend Developer with Kotlin Experience - Remote

Overview

Wrike is seeking a Backend Developer with Kotlin experience to join a cross-functional mobile team working on a mobile app for collaborative project management. The role is focused on improving the backend services with Kotlin, contributing to the mobile app’s core logic, and enhancing the user experience for enterprise customers.

In Short

• Work on Kotlin-based backend services for the mobile app
• Contribute to the core platform, including APIs, business logic, and optimizations for mobile
• Code reviews, peer reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ability to evolve the service and contribute innovative solutions for Kotlin
• Minimum 3-5 years of SW development experience with Java, Spring, Mybatis, Postgres, Maven
• At least 1 year production experience with Kotlin is a must
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, SOLID principles and REST
• Knowledge of SQL, REST and a commitment to continuous learning
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience working with mobile teams is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of SW development experience with Java, Spring, Mybatis, Postgres, Maven
• At least 1 year production experience with Kotlin is a must
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, SOLID principles and REST
• Knowledge of SQL, REST and a commitment to continuous learning
• Good communication skills in English
