Contributions Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Contributions Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate calculation and allocation of union benefit contributions tied to payroll in the film and television industry.

• Calculate union benefit contributions based on payroll.
• Allocate contributions to appropriate benefit funds.
• Perform quality assurance checks on pre-calculated figures.
• Enter contribution data into the accounting system.
• Collaborate with Labor Relations on contribution requirements.
• Coordinate with the benefit reporting team for deadlines.
• Stay current with union contract changes.
• Assist in documenting processes and procedures.
• Support audits and internal reviews.
• Maintain organized records and transparency across teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with union payroll contributions.
• Strong understanding of MPI rate groups and jurisdictions.
• Experience with SAG/AFTRA, DGA, and WGA.
• Familiarity with film industry payroll processes.
• High proficiency in Excel and G-Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
