Overview

The Construction Project Management Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting project managers with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

In Short

  • Assist project managers with administrative tasks related to active projects.
  • Serve as a communication hub between superintendents, project managers, and contractors.
  • Track project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and process RFIs and submittals.
  • Maintain organized digital records of project documentation.
  • Assist in material procurement and vendor coordination.
  • Utilize ProCore software for project management.
  • Prepare and analyze project data in Excel.
  • Manage schedules and internal communications.
  • Ensure project compliance with requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong background in project management support.
  • Hands-on experience with RFIs and submittals.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience with procurement in construction.
  • Knowledge of ProCore software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting requirements.
