Associate, Construction Project Management - Remote

Overview

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking an Associate, Construction Project Management to join TR's Programs team! The Associate will plan and coordinate Team Rubicon’s construction activities across the United States by leveraging licensed contractors and skilled tradesmen. This position will require excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across functional teams, strong organizational skills to track multiple simultaneous projects, knowledge of construction methods and materials, and the technical skills to comfortably use the tools and software utilized by Team Rubicon.

In Short

• Plan and oversee all activities related to achieving building production goals.
• Manage project costs and monitor trends.
• Manage sub-contracted work including bids and quality control.
• Provide periodic project site visits to ensure compliance with building codes.
• Generate and foster relationships to ensure a pool of contractors.
• Apply for and manage necessary building permits.
• Effectively communicate project progress to clients.
• 2-3 years of experience in project management or business operations.
• Experience with residential construction is preferred.
• This is a full time remote position based on continued funding availability.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in project management or business operations.
• 1-3 years of experience in relationship management.
• Experience with residential construction and ability to perform construction-related tasks.
• Working knowledge of residential building codes and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of Critical Path Scheduling methods.
• Experience with local community recovery efforts is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in matrix managed environments.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Comfortable operating in an active construction site.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
