Overview

As an Account Executive for Middle Markets Property & Casualty, you’ll be responsible for actively retaining business and maintaining senior level relationships with clients, while keeping up to date on market changes and trends and providing expert technical knowledge related to coverage issues.

In Short

  • Manage an assigned complex book of business with appropriate revenue
  • Coordinate all aspects of renewal process with client and Account Management team
  • Build strong carrier relationships
  • Mentor team members on in-depth knowledge of procedures
  • Advise Client Relationship Director of existing client relationship status
  • Own presentations to clients during the renewal process
  • Support Account Managers in developing specifications
  • Find opportunities to expand coverage for existing clients
  • Maintain specific industry knowledge and technical expertise
  • Participate in industry and trade associate meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant insurance brokerage experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills, including broad understanding of insurance coverages
  • College degree preferred
  • Advanced insurance designations preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Required to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of date of hire
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
