Manager of Compliance & Security - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Compliance and Security ensures compliance with governmental requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) and monitors the IT Security environment to detect and respond to cyber threats.

In Short

• Lead Wondr Health’s Information Security team.
• Work with leaders in Product, Legal, Finance, and IT to improve security and privacy.
• Ensure all security monitoring systems are functional and effective.
• Build collaborative relationships with key business partners.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle for secure coding practices.
• Monitor changes in industry-relevant legislation and accreditation.
• Maintain and enhance the Security Incident Response Plan.
• Drive HITRUST and SOC2 implementations.
• Provide expert advice in regulatory healthcare compliance.
• Oversee company-wide compliance operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degrees preferred.
• 5-8 years’ experience in healthcare security, compliance, and auditing.
• Experience in developing policy and managing audits.
• Technology and cybersecurity background preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance required.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• HITRUST r2 & SOC-2 audit experience required.
• HITRUST CSF training or certification is a plus.
