In Short

• The Legal Assistant/Paralegal (AOS) works on employment-based and family-based immigration applications.
• Reports to the AOS Team Manager and collaborates with team members.
• Involves preparing and filing cases such as I-485, I-130, and N-400.
• Requires intensive training to understand immigration law.
• Drafting and organizing forms and documents.
• Assisting in client communication alongside senior team members.
• Processing government correspondence and organizing documents.
• Entering data into internal data management platforms.
• Working on additional projects as directed by the Team Manager.
• Remote applicants are considered, preferably in the Pacific Time Zone.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced law firm required, immigration law experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Proven writing ability.
• Strong organization, process, and computer skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
