PAS Registration Coordinator - Night Shift - Remote

Overview

The PAS Registration Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and outpatient testing, ensuring that patient information is collected and communicated effectively.

• Manage the admission process for inpatients and outpatient procedures.
• Collect and enter patient information into the database.
• Ensure patients understand hospital policies and procedures.
• Distribute information to ancillary departments as needed.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their representatives.
• Utilize analytical skills for data and situations.
• Work in a night shift schedule (32 hours per week).

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; additional languages are a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Familiarity with medical billing and managed care.
• Previous office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Training or experience in customer service is required.
• Associate Degree in business or related field preferred.
