Registered Nurse - CVIR - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse - CVIR at Cooley Dickinson Hospital is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process and ensuring effective and efficient patient care delivery.

In Short

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients in the CVIR setting.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines for effective patient outcomes.
• Requires BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in moderate sedation and catheterization is required.
• Floating and on-call duties may be required.
• Schedule consists of 10-hour shifts.
• Part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required.
• Current experience in moderate sedation needed.
• Previous catheterization and hemodynamic monitoring experience required.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.
