Global Health Equity Research Assistant II Per Diem - Remote

Overview

The Global Health Equity Research Assistant II will support research and evaluation activities focused on reducing health disparities in resource-limited settings, particularly within the Navajo Nation.

In Short

• Assist with research operations under supervision.
• Recruit and evaluate study participants in community settings.
• Conduct surveys and interviews as per protocols.
• Maintain participant records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Deliver study interventions at Early Child Education sites.
• Work approximately 20 hours per week from September to December 2025.
• Possibility to continue from September 2026 to May 2027.
• Requires knowledge of Navajo culture and community.
• Proficiency in the Navajo language is a strong plus.
• Per diem position based in New Mexico.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science required.
• 1-2 years of relevant research and data management experience.
• Experience in community/public health programming or research activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer literacy, including database tools.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
