The MLS Technical Specialist - Point of Care is a specialized role responsible for performing and supervising laboratory tests, ensuring quality control, and training staff within a healthcare setting.

  • Perform waived and non-waived testing under supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or laboratory science.
  • Certified Medical Technologist (MLT, MT) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a specialty or hospital laboratory.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control and compliance standards.
