Overview

Wiz is looking for a Sydney-based Employment Law Counsel to provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment-related issues as the company expands its business.

In Short

• Provide legal advice on global labor law and employment-related issues.
• Draft and review employment contracts and company policies.
• Advise on employee disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations issues.
• Manage relationships with external counsels across various regions.
• Oversee litigation and employment-related government audits.
• Advise on employment matters in new markets, especially in APJ.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in Australia.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology company.
• Experience in handling employment litigation and advising on international employment matters.
• Familiarity with M&A transactions and their implications for employment law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead legal processes.
