In Short

• Lead HR compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to laws.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and policies.
• Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Monitor changes in legal and regulatory landscapes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for HR compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and inquiries.
• Design and deliver compliance training programs.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory matters.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
• Partner with HRIS and payroll teams for data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s or JD preferred.
• 5–7+ years of HR experience focused on compliance.
• Strong knowledge of US employment laws.
• Experience with internal audits and compliance investigations.
• HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
• Collaborative team player with great stakeholder relationships.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
