Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting technology programs within the Business Management Office (BMO) by assisting in planning, execution, and reporting on key initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technology strategies while driving operational efficiencies across finance, workforce management, governance, and communications.

In Short

  • Assist in managing technology-driven programs and initiatives across BMO functions.
  • Support portfolio, program, and project management activities.
  • Coordinate program deliverables, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics, OKRs, and KPIs.
  • Maintain dashboards and analytics tools for insights on capacity planning.
  • Assist in developing governance frameworks for program execution.
  • Support budget planning and financial tracking for technology programs.
  • Help coordinate tech-focused events and internal communications.
  • Facilitate meetings for leadership updates.
  • Build relationships with business partners within and outside the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ proven project management experience, OR 12 years’ higher education/work experience with 8 years’ project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary for business partner relationships.
  • Open to diverse points of view.
  • Preferred: PMP and PgMP certifications, Master’s degree.
