Program Manager, Technology - Remote

Overview

The Program Manager – Technology plays a pivotal role in steering the direction and overseeing the execution of technology programs and projects, aligning them with the strategic objectives, commitments, and goals of the company.

In Short

• Manage strategic cross-functional technology programs and projects from conception to completion.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to validate business cases and collaboratively develop program charters.
• Develop and maintain program documentation including management plans and schedules.
• Manage entire program scope and mitigate scope creep.
• Facilitate regular meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Provide effective leadership to project managers.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve conflicts and risks.
• Utilize PMBOK best practices and established project methodologies.
• Ensure project milestones and timelines are met.
• Provide periodic reports to executive-level representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Ten or more years of progressive project and program management experience.
• Proven experience managing technical programs.
• Extensive experience with Waterfall, Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies.
• PMP or related certification required.
• US Citizenship required by law for federal customer contracts.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management applications like Smartsheet and Jira.
• Experience in data center or IT-related environments preferred.
• MBA or related Master's degree is a plus.
