• Growth engineers at Whatnot are responsible for expanding our new user funnel across buyers and sellers.
• Focus on developing opportunities to grow traffic across multiple channels.
• Create delightful new user experiences to activate and retain buyers and sellers.
• Build out our core Incentivized buyer growth strategy.
• Lead other frontend and fullstack engineers to build our core incentive system.
• Significantly impact the company top-line metrics.
• Prioritize the highest impact features and ship them quickly.
• Research and find new opportunities to drive product direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building E-commerce products.
• Frontend or Fullstack engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading engineers to deliver significant business impact.
• Proven track record of delivering features quickly.
• Excellent cross-functional team communications.
• Excellent product instincts focused on users.
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently.
• Good communication skills in both written and verbal English.
