Overview

The Business Development Manager at WEP Clinical is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across WEP Clinical’s broad portfolio of services, playing a key role in driving impactful solutions and improving outcomes for clients and patients.

In Short

  • Drive growth of the commercial pipeline by identifying and engaging potential clients.
  • Record and report deal progression and sales activity through WEP’s CRM system.
  • Conduct outside sales activities to generate new opportunities.
  • Evaluate and report on new business opportunities and market conditions.
  • Prepare and present account updates and sales results to management.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team for meetings and conferences.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to represent WEP Clinical.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop client solutions.
  • Support proposals and pricing efforts as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
  • 3-7 years of business development or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in reaching out to cold opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
