Overview

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is responsible for creating an inclusive environment and making positive first and last impressions on patients, ensuring efficient center operations through various administrative tasks.

In Short

  • Welcome patients and guests
  • Conduct visit check-in and assist with forms
  • Collect co-pays and update patient information
  • Schedule appointments using electronic medical records
  • Manage phone lines and faxes
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Welcome area
  • May float to other centers as needed
  • Provide high-touch assistance to patients
  • Part of the Service Team reporting to the Practice Manager
  • Embody 'Oaky' values in patient care

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Some college education preferred
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Welcoming attitude towards older adults
  • High level of integrity
  • Ability to create an unmatched patient experience
  • Relentless determination and ownership of results
