Wish Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Wish Coordinator is responsible for managing the wish experience for children within the policies of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, ensuring a magical and safe experience for the child and their family.

In Short

• Coordinate the wish experience for children and families.
• Ensure wishes are safe, appropriate, and magical.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and volunteers.
• Manage all aspects of designated wishes.
• Develop relationships with vendors for in-kind donations.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to families.
• Track financials and reconcile expenditures for wishes.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Regular travel throughout Central Alabama required.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as necessary.

Requirements

• Local to the Auburn/Montgomery metro area.
• Passion for the Make-A-Wish mission.
• Integrity and ethical awareness.
• Ability to make quick decisions.
• Team player with a sense of humor.
• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Healthcare and/or non-profit experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
