Leadership Support Intern - Remote

Overview

Assist the VP of Advancement at Make-A-Wish Alabama with a variety of administrative and support tasks to help execute initiatives that further the organization’s mission. This role provides valuable experience in donor relations, executive assistance, and team coordination.

In Short

• Conduct research on prospective donors and update profiles with relevant information
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups for the VP of Advancement
• Assist with meeting preparation, including creating agendas and gathering necessary materials
• Take meeting notes and provide summaries or action items to support efficient follow-up
• Provide general support for departmental event planning and coordination efforts as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives and initiatives

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail
