Communications Manager - Pharmacy - Remote

Overview

As a Communications Manager on the growing and evolving Pharmacy team, you will help create and curate creative, easy-to-understand member and client messaging and educational content that support and reinforce Wellmark’s vision to Make Health Care Better.

In Short

• Develop and convey Wellmark’s pharmacy strategies and initiatives.
• Create and write clear and concise educational and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with pharmacy subject matter experts.
• Partner with various internal teams for communication strategies.
• Seek feedback from stakeholders to enhance communication efforts.
• Manage digital content for pharmacy on Wellmark’s websites.
• Coordinate communications regarding pharmacy benefit changes.
• Provide strategic input into marketing campaigns related to Pharmacy.
• Proofread and edit material in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or journalism.
• 4+ years of health care, insurance, or related business knowledge.
• Strong consultation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and relationship management.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge in principles of building adult education content.
