Overview

Wealthfront is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the Project Leader, supporting the Accounting and Risk Management teams. This strategic role will be essential in driving successful execution of key initiatives, including external audits, system implementation and management, and other cross-functional efforts critical to organizational readiness and compliance.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact projects across Accounting and Risk Management functions.
• Manage external audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Oversee system and technology implementations.
• Review and track contracts/Statements of Work (SoW).
• Build and manage detailed project plans and milestones.
• Deliver tailored communications and status reports for stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive resolution across teams.
• Support Finance, Accounting, and Risk teams in documentation and deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
• Ensure accountability while maintaining strategic goals.

Requirements

• 6+ years of project management experience in accounting, audit, or risk-related functions.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
• Experience in developing project plans and preparing executive updates.
• Strong communication skills tailored to audience needs.
• Self-starter with ownership and follow-through.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
