Project and Accounting Specialist - Remote

An opportunity for a talented Project and Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting Team in downtown Los Angeles, CA, providing support for billing, payroll, and accounts payable.

In Short

• Full-time position with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
• Coordinate billing and payroll for engineering, survey, and construction management teams.
• Complete monthly project billing accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers about billing and contract modifications.
• Set up new projects using accounting software.
• Process payroll for office and union field staff.
• Facilitate expense reporting and accounts payable processing.
• Administer contracts from execution to close out.
• Reconcile cash receipt variances.
• Provide accounting support to staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
