Talent Acquisition Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, engage, and hire top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

In Short

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for various roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
• Conduct reference checks, negotiate job offers, and support onboarding processes.
• Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) best practices are embedded in all recruitment efforts.
• Utilize SmartRecruiters (Applicant Tracking System) and other HRIS systems to manage candidate pipelines.
• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, including social media recruiting.
• Maintain accurate records and provide recruitment analytics and reports as required.
• Stay current on recruitment trends and employment legislation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
• CPHR or other related recruitment designation preferred.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as SmartRecruiters.
• Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing.
• Ability to orient and teach leaders on full cycle recruitment process.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Strong digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in French and English preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
