Product Manager - Payments - Remote

Overview

We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the Payments stack across our booking flows, in-stay charges, refunds/disputes, and partner payouts, partnering deeply with Finance on reconciliation, revenue recognition, taxation, and audit-ready controls.

In Short

• Own the payments & finops roadmap including acceptance, refunds, disputes, payouts, and financial data integrity.
• Partner with Finance on GL mapping, automated reconciliation, revenue recognition, and audit trails.
• Improve acceptance and customer experience by optimizing payment methods.
• Reduce cost and risk by implementing fraud controls and monitoring fees.
• Build compliant payouts for partners with transparent statements.
• Support B2B flows including invoices and AR automation.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to payment processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Data teams for successful product launches.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Product Manager, with 3+ focused on payments/fintech.
• Prior hands-on software engineering experience or company founding.
• Fluency in the card lifecycle and payment processing.
• Experience with refunds, credits, and reconciliation.
• Strong quantitative skills, preferably with SQL.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and financial teams.
• Bias to action and strong writing skills.
