Chief Financial Officer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO. This role will have full financial leadership over Reown, Inc. (US) and day-to-day operations of the WalletConnect Foundation’s Cayman and BVI entities.

In Short

• Full financial leadership over Reown, Inc. and WalletConnect Foundation.
• Develop and execute financial strategy and reporting.
• Manage investments, asset management, financial planning, budgeting, M&A, and forecasting.
• Partner with external accounting firms for audits and tax filings.
• Lead treasury management for both fiat and digital assets.
• Run Accounts Payable/Receivable processes ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Engage with stakeholders to generate institutional awareness.
• Design and operate a public reporting framework for Foundation finances.
• Support the CEO in strategic initiatives and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO or similar financial leadership role.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Experience in managing investments and asset management.
• Familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work remotely and manage teams effectively.
• Willingness to engage with stakeholders and investors.
